RBIT360°

Our unique Asset Integrity Management Software platform RBIT360™ is created by and for the tank storage industry. Therefore it is a dedicated and truly one-of-a-kind software platform which will feel familiar for users in that sector. After over 10 years of development together with our clients, it harbours many specific and very helpful functionalities and even some Artificial Intelligence to assist its users.

The Asset Integrity Management system for Tank Parks consist of three modules, each dedicated to critical assets of the terminal. The combination of these three systems, form a comprehensive approach that covers all (trendable en non-trendable) degradation mechanisms that have to be taken into account. This enables the Tank Park management to operate its assets in a responsible and auditable manner.

Tanks

The number one Tank Integrity Management system used by Storage Tank Operators - supported by RBIT360 Tanks Software as a Service - is dedicated uniquely to Storage Tanks and complies to EEMUA159, API 653, API580 and API581. It is recommended by Governmental Bodies. For tank-owners who want to be in control of the condition of their tanks whilst pursuing downright cost savings.

RBIT360 Piping

Piping

Piping Integrity Management system for Tank Parks supported by RBIT360 Piping Software as a Service. Highly customizable to local needs and guidelines. Turns data into information to enable management to control all piping-assets on the terminal in a structured way. It automatically produces detailed inspection plans.

RBIT360 Equipment

Equipment

For all other critical assets on a Tank Park that require attention, Inventure Technologies offers an Asset Reliability and Integrity Management system, supported by RBIT360 Equipment Software as a Service. This package completes our integrated management system for the assets on a Tank Park. Using the complete package, a tank turnaround will now yield a detailed scope of work in one view.

SAAS & Subscriptions

RBIT360™ is a SAAS (Software As A Service) application which runs through the web browser. This allows instant development and availability of new functionalities and add-ons (rather than re-installing new versions with CD-ROMS). It also allows Inventure Technologies to provide instant assistance and most importantly: it enables quality control online from anywhere in the world.

If a Tank Owner’s organization decides to implement RBIT360, a Single Point of Contact (SPC) of the Tank Owner’s organization will be appointed. The SPC will receive a username and password for their own access to the RBIT360 software. Furthermore the SPC is authorized to add, change the role, and delete (an in principle unlimited number of) additional colleague users. Annually, the user access agreement will be prolongued. If a Tankowner organization wants to cancel the user agreement, this can be done before 30 days prior to the end date of the agreement. If no termination is received, Inventure Technologies will automatically propose to prolong the user agreement and will invoice the annual User Agreement Fee.

ESCROW

If required, Inventure Technologies can assist in establishing an Escrow agreement between the Tank-owner organization and Escrow-4-All. This Escrow safeguards the continuity of the Software and the availability of the data of the Tankowner if Inventure Technologies is no longer capable of doing so, for whatever reason.

Customizations

The Asset Integrity System that Inventure Technologies provides is always tailored to the specific needs of the local terminal or Tank Park. It is our strong belief that there cannot be such a thing as a one-size-fits-all solution as there are always local (legislative) requirements, specific needs or customer wishes.

Customization primarily emanates from the formulation of the methodology (the handbook). The result can have two implications on the RBIT360 software. The first is the need for customization by means of configuration, the other is the need for customization by means of modification.

Configuration

In case the software already provides customer-specific settings; certain agreements in the methodology can easily be configured in the software. Examples are: user roles, whether redundant input fields in the pontoon grid are present, whether the pontoon grid includes the centre deck, the next inspection precision, the possible use of the control measures, and the use of the registration of average thicknesses.

Modification

Where the software does not provide optional functionalities or settings that can easily be switched or configured, the software needs to be augmented with new tailor-made functionalities or settings. Sometimes requirements that result from the agreed methodology lead to tailor-made functionalities or settings. These will be for the account of the client.

When the probability exists that a proposed change can lead to an advantage for several customers, Inventure Technologies will always try to spread the development costs across multiple customers.

Software development

Inventure Technologies develops software in-house. This means that we can also offer tailor-made software solutions that do not specifically originate from an Asset Integrity Management Handbook but are for general purposes. The NDT-portal is an example of such a development. The execution, however, is very similar to the modifications mentioned at ‘customizations’.

If Inventure Technologies is asked to propose the development of additional tailored software (see above under: Modification), the following approach will be typically used:

  1. Design & decisions; Translation of the user requirements into software functionality.
  2. Kick-off meeting.
  3. The customized functionalities are developed. The development work takes place at the Inventure Technologies head office in Delft and the realized functionalities are demonstrated and discussed on a regular basis (if applicable).
  4. Technical testing of the software.
  5. Completion of the customization functionalities takes place by a final demonstration at the client site.
  6. The software is configured and made available.
  7. The client performs an acceptance test (for accuracy and functionality).
  8. Any adjustments that result from the acceptance are carried out.
  9. Evaluation of the project.
